weekend before T-day

I've been having fun with my new phone. Took a few photos around. This first photo is the crotch from the Damen Blue Line stop. These next are some pics from the roof at work. The last one is from the roof of the Monadnock looking down dearborn.

New Job

I was offered a new job today. I got the email while at work. Sweet bliss. Calming salve. Things don't seem so bad, anymore. I haven't accepted, yet. Will call tomorrow during lunch. I want to accept in person, and I want to talk about a schedule. We are wrapping up a lot of work at WDW and I want to see that things come to a good end. At least with Iowa 80. Also, I was told to expect a bonus next week since I introduced Al to the company and it will be his 90 day review. I don't want them to renig, though they might anyway. My new work will be a lot closer to home - I might be able to walk to work in the morning. I'll have to see how long it takes. I took my new phone to work today. Have some pictures, which are:
The first one is ontop of the Monadnock building looking across to the Fisher Building. It was a wet day - rained a bit, misted a lot. It was beautiful seeing it come down through the Mies Federal Buildings. The next is getting off of work looking across the helm of the monadnock and down Dearborn. The last is getting off of work and turning around while descending into the jackson station blue line and catching the federal building looming overhead.

New Phone

I just got a new cellphone today - one that can take photos. I've wanted one awhile - I see a lot of random things around Chicago that I wish I had pictures of. Sometimes I draw them, but if I don't have the time then I have to just let it slide. This is a photo of "the crotch" - I got my new phone right around the corner on Milwaukee. More to come...and them more again.
